The initial consultation is a flat US$300 for a 60-minute session. After scheduling, you will receive a confirmation email with payment details. The USD 300 consultation fee is fully credited toward your legal fees if you retain us.
What happens during the consultation?
During the 60 minutes we review your situation, explain the relevant options under Brazilian law, and outline practical next steps. It is an assessment of your matter — not a guarantee of any particular outcome. Any ongoing representation begins only after a separate, signed engagement.
Who will I be speaking with?
Your consultation is with Zachariah Zagol, a Brazil-licensed attorney (OAB/SP 351.356) and the first American to pass the Brazilian Bar Exam, with an LL.M. from USC Law School.
In what language is the consultation held?
In English or Portuguese — whichever you prefer. Our founding partner is American and fully bilingual, so there is no translation barrier.
Can the consultation be held remotely?
Yes. Consultations are held online by video, so you can join from anywhere in the world. The booking confirmation includes the meeting link.
